I always felt happy when I was around Uncle Leon. As a child, his gentle teasing and ready smile made me feel welcome and safe. I can still hear his laugh as he chuckled at the antics of his kids. He always made this "city kid" want to spend time with him in the country.

We remember being at Amanda's wedding and Leon was anxious to know how the Pitt State football team was playing and what the score was. He was so happy when Shawn found a way to get live updates of the game. Leon was a really great guy and will be missed.
