Larry Keith Lee's Obituary
Larry Lee, 52, passed away on April 15, 2025, in Franklin, KS after a courageous battle with cancer.
Larry was born on September 25, 1972 in Girard, KS, to Edwin Lee and Janice McCulloch Lee.
He attended Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, KS. After high school he began working in the rent to own business and started out in collections. His hard work and dedication eventually led him to become store manager of Buddy's Home Furnishings in Pittsburg where he gained much success in achieving the highest sales volume in the company and becoming regional manager over several locations. He was employed there at the time of his death.
Larry met his wife, Tracy and got married less than a year later on July 6, 1996 in Pittsburg, KS. The couple had 3 children, Kelcey, Brody & Hunter Lee.
He had lots of hobbies that included coin collecting, fishing, shooting guns and golfing.
Larry volunteered with Baker Township Fire Department and was currently serving as a volunteer with the Frontenac Fire Department for many years. He also served as a reserve in the Frontenac Police department several years ago. He was the kind of guy who lived to serve his community and lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was a friend to so many and will be missed.
Larry was a wonderful and devoted husband to Tracy and a great role model to his kids. His family was the most important thing in his life and he talked about them and loved them a lot. His young grandchildren also held a very special place in his heart and he wanted to see them as much as he could.
Larry is survived by his wife, his daughter Kelcey (Matt) Estle, sons Brody and Hunter and grandchildren Paisley and Camden. He is also survived by his mother Janice and his brothers Randy and Jason (Amanda) Lee.
He is preceded in death by his father Edwin Lee.
Larry attended FLAG church in Pittsburg.
The service will be held on Friday, April 18th at 10:00 AM at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home & Crematory - Pittsburg.
Visitation: Thursday, April 17th at 6:00 PM at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home & Crematory - Pittsburg.
Burial: Highland Park Cemetery, Pittsburg, KS
Memorial donations can be made in Larry's name to the Frontenac Fire Department to fund scholarships for future firefighters.
