Most summers I spent hopping back and forth from both of my grandparents houses. Some of my earliest memories were getting up early on Sunday and getting dressed up for church. My grandfather was a handsome gentleman and he always looked so sharp for church. He played in the band, and I loved listening to the gospel music and seeing him up on stage. The foundation of my faith was built in that church, because of him, and that faith got me through the darkest moments of my life. There are so many other things he instilled in me like my love for classic country, Reader's Digest, and history documentaries, but his most precious gift to me was that foundation of faith. I never got to thank him, but I hope he knows what it meant to me. I love you Papa Larry.
