Kristi Kay Cossairt's Obituary
Kristi Kay Cossairt, 53 of Columbus passed away Saturday evening August 20, 2016 and said good-by to her family and friends, then traveled on the wings of angels to be with her Mother and God.
Kristi was born March 7, 1963 in Columbus, KS the daughter of Lee and Trude (Eddington) Cossairt. She attended Highland School from K-5th in Columbus and Lone Star School in Pittsburg.
She spent her life in the Columbus area. She worked for several businesses including Ace Electric, Pizza Hut, Class LTD Cleaning Crew, Apple Market and the Daylight Donut Shop.
She loved going to church and singing “Jesus Loves Me”.
Over the years Kristi made many friends in the area. The people of Columbus treated Kristi so Good, for this we say, Thanks.
Survivors include her father Lee Cossairt and his wife Mary, sister, Jami Audo and husband Dennis, Kionah Audo, Tasha Smith, Rebecca Frobish and Tim Frobish, a brother Terry Cossairt and Max Morang and family, several aunts and uncles: Earl & Carolyn Eddington, Jack & Verna Cossairt, Marylyn Morris, Gwen & Charlie Contrell and John, Jim & Bob Eddington all of Columbus, Ray & Irene Cossairt of IL, Sally & John Atwood of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her mother Trude (Eddington) Cossairt, a sister-in-law Cindy Cossairt, Maternal grandparents Berma & Earl Eddington and Paternal Grandparents Ernest & Juanita Cossairt.
Funeral services will be 10am, Wednesday, August 24th, 2016 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus with Rev. Dennis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Park Cemetery.
