When I think back on my earliest memories, there are very few without Kathy in them. She became my mothers best friend when I was only 4, they went through divorces together and she was like a second mother. They cried together but mostly laughed together - at each other and themselves. They used to joke that one couldn’t see, the other couldn’t hear so Mom would tell her what they looked like and Kathy would tell Momma what they said when they went out dancing. I will remember her laughter, her hugs, her huge heart and the sparkle in her eyes when it came to Kristal, Keith and Fred.
