Karen F. Bunney's Obituary
Karen F. Bunney 58, of Pittsburg, KS died 6:37pm Saturday April 16,
2016 at her home following an illness.
Karen was born April 1, 1958 in Wyatt, MO the daughter of Harold Hall
and Erma Jewel (Johnson) Lee. Karen has been apart of the Pittsburg
community since 1982. She was a graduate of Dennison High School in
Dennison, TX. In 1987 Karen married Fredderick E. Bunney Sr. in
Liberal, MO; he preceded her in death on October 5, 2005. Karen
worked for various telemarketing agencies in Pittsburg, KS.
Karen was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in Pittsburg,
KS; in her free time she enjoyed the outdoors, flea markets and her
family and friends.
Survivors include her mother; children April D. Bunney of Arma, KS and
Stephanie Harrison and husband Jason of Pittsburg, KS; grandchildren
Larisa Ruth, Tristen Holder, Kody, Kylee and Keaton Harrison.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband, father, and brother
Dewayne Lee.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Thursday April 21, 2016 at the
Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS with Pastor Daryl Gaddy
officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg,
KS. Family will receive friends from 6-7:00pm Wednesday April 20, 2016
at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS; friends may call after
2:00pm Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of
sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the ALS Association. Friends
may drop off or mail memorials to the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S.
