Judy Winn's Obituary
Judy Winn 72, of Pittsburg, KS died 6:32pm Thursday August 11, 2016 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, KS following a long illness.
Judy was born October 9, 1943 in Pratt, KS the daughter of Cecil Edward and Ester (Ackley) Smith. She has been apart of the Pittsburg community since 1943 and was a graduate of Pittsburg High School in 1962.
On July 3, 1988 Judy married Virgil Winn in Pittsburg, KS; he survives at the home. Judy was a homemaker; was of the Christian Faith; loved St. Mary’s Colgan Athletics; baking cookies and Relay for Life Cancer Walks.
Survivors include her husband; her 2 pet Cockatoo parrots and numerous cousins and her extended Class family.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Tuesday August 16, 2016 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS with Fr. Michael Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at the Girard Cemetery in Girard, KS. Family will receive friends from 6-7:00pm Monday August 15, 2016 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS; friends may call after 1:00pm Monday. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Via Christi Cancer Center.
