Judith Ann Doudna's Obituary
Judith Ann Doudna, 79 of Pittsburg, KS died Saturday February 10, 2024 at the Via Christi Village in Pittsburg.
She was born November 6, 1944 in Parsons, KS the daughter of Sydney and Agnes (Yunk) Denomme.
On September 4, 1965 she was united in marriage to Douglas Doudna he survives her.
Judy worked as a cook at Harry’s Café and at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg for many years. She also worked at National Mills and PittPlastic’s.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg.
Survivors include her husband Doug Doudna of Pittsburg, a sister Jeanne (Henry) Buset of Pittsburg, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Robert, Jerry and Dave Denomme and a sister Barbara Hawley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am, Thursday February 15, 2024 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Andrew Labenz as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Parish rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7pm at the funeral home where visitation will follow. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association and/or the American Heart Association; these may be let at or mailed to the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg.
