Joseph H. Bennett III's Obituary
SCAMMON, KS – Joseph H. Bennett III, 45, of Scammon, died December 17, 2016 as the result of an automobile accident in Cherokee County, KS.
He was born July 14, 1971 in Columbus. He had been a resident of Scammon for two years and a lifelong resident of southeast Kansas.
“I have no words but a lot of memories that make me smile. Rest in peace Joe Bennett a one of a kind guy, the go to guy if you ever needed a good guy. He gave his all to help so many organizations. Now I wonder who will ever be able to fill the empty shoes. Joe Bennett is an angel today and I know while he is missed here on earth, heaven is just a little brighter today because God needed him back! Fly high and free Joe because we are sure going to miss you!”
Joseph was currently employed by Mid America Pipe Company in Roseland, KS in the Quality Control Department.
Membership was held in the West Mineral Eagles Club, the Cherokee American Legion and was a legion rider.
