John Dale Penrod's Obituary
John Dale Penrod, 62 of Wichita, formerly of Weir, KS died on September 10, 2024 at Ascension St Francis, in Wichita after suffering from complications of a cerebral hemorrhage. John Dale was born December 12, 1961 to Francis (Fritz) Penrod and Margaret (Corkle) Penrod Sullivan.
John Dale worked in construction in the Wichita area for many years.
He is survived by his mother, two sisters, Kelly Mitchell of Weir, KS and Marcia Taylor and her husband Mark of Girard, KS. One niece Shanon Linn, and husband Caleb of Columbus, KS; two nephews, Matt Taylor and wife Whitney of Roeland Park, KS and Myles Taylor of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Two great-nephews, Cash Romstedt and Wyatt Linn of Columbus, KS.
John Dale was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation services are under the direction of Bath Naylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
