Dr. John Edward Kazmierski, DDSPA's Obituary
Dr. John Edward Kazmierski, DDSPA, 91, of rural Pittsburg, KS died Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Mercy Hospital Pittsburg.
He was born March 12, 1934 in Pittsburg, the son of Joseph and Rose
(Gruber) Kazmierski Benelli
He attended St Mary’s Catholic Schools, Kansas State Teachers College and the University of Kansas City school of Dentistry.
On August 4, 1956 he was united in marriage to Patricia A. McNeill in Frontenac, KS; she preceded him in death on August 5, 2011.
He practiced Dentistry in Pittsburg for many years.
He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Kansas Dental Association, Pittsburg Dental Study Club, SEK Dental Society and a member of the Crestwood County Club since 1960.
Survivors include a son John P. Kazmierski and his wife Gwen of Pittsburg; a daughter Dr. Lynn R. Wuthnow, DDSPA and her husband Duane of New Cambria, KS; Two grandchildren: Dr. Blake Wuthnow, DDS and his wife Dr. Chelsea Wuthnow, MD, Dr. Nicholas Wuthnow, DC and his wife Dr. Kate Main, DO; two great-grandchildren: Graham and Alexandra Wuthnow.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patty, son Joseph D. Kazmierski and a brother Robert Kazmierski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am, Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Caleb Kuestersteffen as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the SEK Humane Society; these may be left at or mailed to the mortuary.
