John D. Beckham 72, of Pittsburg, KS died 11:43am Saturday May 10, 2025 at his home following an illness.
John was born January 6, 1953 in Pratt, KS the son of Benjamin Russell and Hilda (Clark) Beckham. John has lived in Olathe, KS for about 30 years and most recently Sapulpa, KS for the last 20 years. John spent most of his working years at Honeywell Manufacturing in Kansas City.
John married Patricia Thompson on June 24, 1974 in Kansas City, KS; she preceded him in death on July 28, 2003.
John was of the Christian Faith; he loved fishing, spending time with friends and art in his free time.
Survivors include his brother Robert Beckham and wife Janice of Pittsburg, KS and 4 nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents and sister Debbie Matthews.
Private burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, KS. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Pittsburg, KS.
