Matthew Galloway
Joe, Wanda and their kids were our neighbors. Rodney was one of my best friends growing up. During the summers in the 1980's we would vacation in Colorado with them and took in many hikes. My father Ed Galloway and Joe climbed/scrambled two 14k mountains there (Mt Meeker and Long's Peak). Rodney and I climbed/scrambled (non technical routes) with Joe and my dad Long's Peak one summer. I remember Joe for his love of music, motorcycles and Ham radio. Like Rodney, he was a talented musician and a gifted singer. He was tough but fair father figure around our neighborhood and he had a easy sense of humor. A great man I will miss. My condolences go to Rodney and his family.
