Jo Ellen Hagerty's Obituary
Jo Ellen Hagerty, 72 of Frontenac, KS died December 17, 2021 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
She was born January 30, 1949 the daughter of George and Berneta (VanLaningham) Mathis.
In June of 1968 she was united in marriage to Mike Hagerty, they later divorced in July 1994.
Jo Ellen was a homemaker. She also was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons: Michael (Danika) Hagerty and Patrick Hagerty both of Frontenac; a brother Larry (Diane) Mathis of Houston, TX; three grandchildren Michael, Sean and Madison Hagerty along with a companion Jim Willard and her faithful dog Caesar.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be 5pm Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac. Condolences may be left at www.friskelfuneralhome.com.
