Jim was a great man with good advice! He sure gave me heck when I slid on the ice and pulled me out of the ditch. He will be greatly missed.
Sorry for your loss. Jim was a very nice man and always enjoyed visiting with him.
God bless all of you.
Gerald and Jan Azember
Jim was a good man and a good friend. He always remembered things about our basketball and football careers. If you showed up at their house you better be ready to go to work, whether it was a visit or you were actually supposed to be working. He always had a smile on his face. I will always miss the lunchs we had in the field (thanks Liz), and I will always remember the talks and discussions we had while dumping the grain trucks at the elevator. He was always the first to show up, and the last to go home until the later years. I will always remember the last time he rode in the tractor with me. Jim I know you will always be on the “Channel”. My love goes out to the family and all the memories I had with them will be forever cherished. Sincerely, Brent Murray
We remember our fun trip together with Liz and Jim to Europe. Please know we are thinking of you at this difficult time. Roger & Pam Schlemmer
So sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend to my dad and mom and me. He was so kind to my kids and grandkids...taking them riding on the farm tractors! Jim was a wonderful person and will be missed. Sending our thoughts and prayers. Sue Rogers Malone, Doug Scott, Nich and Ryan Fox
Jim O’Malley, or “uncle jimbo” as we knew him growing up. A heck of a guy, taught me a lot of things in life. Hard work pays off, leave some time for fun, and even if you did it the way he told you, you probably still did it wrong. Jim could tell me a memory of something I did at such and such age that I couldn’t even remember. He always came to my football, basketball and other sports events. He was always there to pull any “city boy” out of the mud or snow. They don’t make them like they made ol milk jug anymore.
Jim was my first boss after my parents stopped farming. I had always known Jim thru being neighbors with him and Liz. Around here neighjors are always there to help out. Jim was always there to lend a helping hand. I grew up knowing O'Malley's Dairy and fresh whole milk from just down the road. I went to school with Jason, Joy and Jody. Jim was a good Catholic man. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends...
