Jaxen Lee Bird's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our son, Jaxen Lee Bird, who left us on May 6th, 2025. Jaxen was born on July 19th, 2023 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, KS. Though his journey was marked by struggle, he showed us the true meaning of strength and grace. From the moment he entered our lives, he brought light, warmth, and an indescribable sense of joy. He was our brave little boy and now our brave angel above.
He is survived by his parents Matthew and Jordan Bird; grandparents Jerry and Nancy Bird and Dennis and Cindy Davied; great grandparents John and Joyce Kovacic; uncles Josh Bird and Drew Davied. He is preceded in death by his aunt Megan Bird. Jaxen is also cherished by his extended family and many dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Although we only had a short time with him, he taught us more about love, hope, and the importance of cherishing every moment.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac, KS. A private service will be held, with burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Frontenac.
