James D. York's Obituary
James “Jim” Dean York, 65 of Pittsburg, KS went to be with Jesus on June 24, 2024 at his home.
Jim was born in Paola, KS on June 24, 1959, the son of Charles York and Dorothy (Graves) Hubbard.
He was a graduate of Paola high school, class of 1978. He worked as a custodian throughout his career. Jim spent many years in Jacksonville, FL before moving back to Pittsburg, KS area to be close to family.
Jim married several times but had no children but was adored by his nieces and nephews, who loved to joke around and share his jokes and stories. Jim believed in Jesus as his savior.
Jim is preceded in death by his three sisters, Leslie York, Dorothene Ann Sabens, Martha Yeager and his parents.
Jim is survived by his brother, Charles and Bill York along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, on Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS.
