James David Guy's Obituary
James Guy, age 69 of Columbus Ks, passed away on January 16,
2024 at Mercy Hospital Joplin.
James was born in Columbus KS to Bobbie Guy and Betty
Gatewood Guy.
He married Debra Schreiner in May of 1974. She preceded him in death in 2020.
Jim graduated from CUHS class of 1972. He was employed by International, Case International, and John Deere retiring in 2000.
His hobbies included woodworking, tractor pulling and fabricating.
Survived by his son James Robert "JB" Guy of Columbus KS. His mother Betty Guy. Two sisters, Jan (Randy) Locke of Erie, Ks and Bobbie (Paul) Koons of Columbus.
Brother in laws, Louis (Patsy) Schreiner, David (Cheryl) Schreiner, and sister in law Susan (Jim) Rockers all of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his, wife, father Bobbie Guy, and his dog Molly.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Columbus. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
