James Hilton Clausen's Obituary
James Hilton Clausen, 68 of Cherokee, KS died at 8:42 pm, Monday January 4, 2021 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
He was born January 24, 1952 in Carrington, ND the son of Hilton and Clara (Liudahl) Clausen.
On February 5, 1983 he was united in marriage to Kimberly Darland.
James was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Cherokee.
He worked for O’Reilly Automotive for many years.
Survivors include three sons: Aaron Clausen of Cherokee, Samuel Clausen of Pittsburg, Timothy Clausen of Fredonia, KS; two daughters: Hannah Clausen of Pittsburg, Sarah Clausen of Cherokee. a sister: Eileen Schrag of Zimmerdale, KS along with three grandchildren Nicole & Colin Clausen and Kai James Clausen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother John Clausen and a sister Annette Wicklund.
Visitation will be 4–8pm on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg. The first hour of the visitation will be live streamed on this website. Please keep social distancing in mind while you attend the visitation. A private burial will take place at the Garden Communities Cemetery in Moundridge, KS. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Cherokee; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Pittsburg.
