Jack Stevens' Obituary
Jack “JJ” Stevens, 78, formerly of Salina, KS, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026 in Pittsburg, KS. He was born on November 2, 1947 in Salina, KS to Vernon M. and Marjorie "Jean" (Mowery) Stevens. As a young child Jack contracted Polio (the first case in Salina County). He enjoyed playing pool and golf and worked hard despite his disability.
Jack is survived by his son John Paul Stevens (Kelly Black) of Salina, KS, his sisters Linda (Gaylord) Hoffman of Pittsburg, KS and Jill Lundgrin (his twin) of Charleston, SC. Additional survivors are his step grand-daughters Shaela and Sherae and several nieces and a nephew.
No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church or other charitable organizations of your choice. These may be mailed or dropped off at 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg, KS 66762.
