Glen Dale Bennett's Obituary
Glen Dale Bennett, 75 of Columbus died Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 8, 1948 in Columbus, KS the son of Lee Arthur and Beulah (Wilson) Bennett.
Glen was a lifetime farmer and also worked for Mars Dog Food (21 yrs), Spencer (Gulf) Chemical (20 yrs) and NCN(20 yrs).
Survivors include a brother Tom Bennett, a nephew Scott Bennett, great nephew Brice Bennett (fiancée Courtney), great niece Bailey (Keaton) Schoech along with two great-great nephews Fisher and Milo; all are of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law Connie Bennett.
Funeral Services will be 6:00pm Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus, KS with Fr. Jeremy Huser officiating. Burial will be private at Park Cemetery in Columbus, KS. Family will receive friends from 5-6:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may call the funeral home after 1:00pm Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the MAX Therapy Center in Columbus, KS. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 611 S. East Ave. Columbus, KS 66725. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
