Frank Gilliland, N0IGZ, was always a great friend and so was his wife Virgie. They came to visit Bernice & I many times in Pittsburg, KS. He loved our dog Minnie as much as we did. He was an exceptional Amateur Radio operator and built his own antennas. Even though we moved away to South Carolina 13 years ago we always stayed in touch via email. My memory of Frank as his quick smile and twinkle in his eyes! He was such a kind and caring man. I had the utmost respect for him for a number of reasons but mostly because of the love and respect his family had for him! He will be missed!
