Donna Arlene Taylor's Obituary
Donna Arlene Taylor, 86, of Frontenac, KS, passed away on December 3, 2024, at the Via Christi Village in Pittsburg, KS.
Donna was born on July 19, 1938, in St. Louis, MO, to Charles R. and Hazel (Augustin) Taylor. She spent many years shaping young lives as a daycare provider in the Pittsburg area. Donna, a woman of Christian faith, was a member of the Crawford County Mental Health Oak Leaf Club. She contributed her time to the Pittsburg Middle School, where she was involved in the Shaping Lives group, making a positive impact on young students.
Donna is survived by her sister, Kathleen Lee Piraro of Frontenac, KS; two nephews, Brian Pasteur and wife Terressa of Pittsburg, KS, and Kevin Pasteur of Colorado; and a niece, Heather Price and husband Randy of Kansas City, MO. She also leaves behind several other beloved nieces and nephews and her dear friend Shelley Gromer of Pittsburg, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Patti Taylor; and her brother, Chuck Taylor.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 5 to 7 PM at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS. A private burial will take place at Highland Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation. Donations may be mailed or delivered to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home.
