Dani..
I am so very sorry. I know we used to make jokes about don't ringing bells, and other things. I never on any day would have expected this to have happened. I know it is something that may have been a bit too soon and random. He was blessed to have you as his loving and caring wife. Blessed to have the gifted and glorious children you both have. Bless you and your family. You truly did your best to take care of him. You went far and beyond, even with the need of an oxygen tank. You are a strong and wondrous person with the soul of an angel. Good thing you never locked don't in the basement.
Love you.

I have so many great memories of Uncle Donnie. His cooking, his jokes, and the way he loved fireworks and Christmas. Just like a big kid.
Oh boy, lotsa memories...but, one always stands out when I look back. Must have 1978 or 79, before we had kids. The four of us Donnie, Jim, Dani n I would drive over to Joplin to the drive in. Jim n I had been to the laundary mat, clean clothes. Dani n Donnie in the back. We sat there and these kids kept looking over looking laughing. When these three boys got out and went to the consession stand Donnie n Jim hoped out and threw a pr of clean unmentionables in the glove compartment..we laughed so hard knowing we got these 3 teens, in their parents station wagon, in trouble. Of course also, the night we got our car stolen. Could go on and on. Donnie was ornery but, had a kind, big heart! I cherish all our memories. I'm proud to say he was....is my friend.
