Cherokee, KS – Dominic L. “Bob” Bertella, 78, of Cherokee, died September 19, 2017 at Via Christi Village in Pittsburg, Kansas.
He was born February 24, 1939 in Cherokee, Kansas the son of William and Marybelle (Bowen) Bertella. Dominic married Gloria Nadine (Ekis) Bertella, she preceded him in death in 1976. He later married Joann Mundt, she preceded him in death in 2009.
He was a member of Cherokee Senior Citizens.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle Bertella, sisters; Mary Lou Thompson and Lena Mae Edwards. Nieces: Cheryl Barley, Renee Pakitsos, and Katrina Deters. Nephews, Mark Thompson, Kent Thompson, and Charlie Bertella.
He was preceded in death by both wives, parents, daughter; Kimberly Dawn Bertella and brother; Tom Bertella.
Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bath Naylor Funeral Home of Weir, KS.
