Delores A. Bolinger's Obituary
Delores A. Bolinger, 94 of Pittsburg, KS, passed away June 3, 2025 at Oakview Estates in Frontenac.
She was born January 10, 1931 in Columbus, KS the daughter of Mike and Frances (Sigler) Saporito.
She graduated from Columbus High School with the Class of 1949; she then went on to PSU for a year.
On April 30, 1955 she was united in marriage to Bill Bolinger in Scammon, KS; he preceded her in death on December 8, 1993.
Delores was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg. She was also a devoted Lunch Lady at George Nettels Elementary from 1978-1993.
Survivors include three sons: Steve (Leatha) Bolinger of Pittsburg, Mark (Marta) Bolinger of Pittsburg, Kurt (Wendy) Bolinger of Clinton, MO; a daughter Denise Loy of Pittsburg along with 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, a brother Michael L. Saporito, two sisters: Anna Mae Hicks & Ruth Bradney and a son-in-law Mark Loy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Simone as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery. Parish Rosary will be recited before the Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Memorials can be made to the OLOL Memorial Fund and/or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
