David W. Rodgers' Obituary
David William Rodgers 66, of Columbus, KS died 12:00pm Friday September 1, 2023 at the Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO following a long illness.
David was born December 19, 1956 in Baxter Springs, KS the son of Wayne and Jean (Gibson) Rodgers. David attended area Baxter Springs Schools. On November 8, 1980 David married Rhonda Lenea Carlisle in Miami, OK; she preceded him in death on July 27, 2023.
David worked for Jackson Jordan in Baxter Springs, KS, Jayhawk Chemical Plant and Koch Chemical Plants. David enjoyed watching horror movies, football, avid Chiefs Fan and loved spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his children Anthony Dean, Dustin Rodgers and Shantelly Staton. David is to be cremated with no memorial services at this time. Arrangements are by the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home Columbus, KS 611 S. East Ave. Columbus, KS 66725. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
