Danny Ray Shoemaker's Obituary
Danny Ray Shoemaker passed away peaceably surrounded by his family on May 20, 2022.
He was born to Maxine and George Shoemaker on Jan. 16, 1951 in Leoti, KS. He grew up in Pittsburg, KS and attended PHS.
In his younger years he spent his summers working for Jess Sutton in the hay fields. He also worked at Harvest Brand/Stockade, Bill's Coal Company, Dalton's as a bouncer, and the City of Pittsburg Parks and Recreation as “The Mower Man”.
He is survived by 5 siblings, Mary Shoemaker, George Shoemaker (Donna), and Gene Shoemaker all of Pittsburg, Leon Shoemaker of Meridian, MS, and Larry Shoemaker (Starr) of Eudora, KS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
