Coletta Marie (Ursic) Romanzi's Obituary
Coletta Marie (Ursic) Romanzi, 85 of Frontenac died at 5:20 a.m.
Sunday April 10, 2016 at the Medicalodge Nursing Home in Frontenac.
She was born November 27, 1930 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of
Andrew and Anna (Mouser) Ursic, she was a lifetime resident of the
Radley/Fronteanc areas. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Grade
School and was a 1948 graduate of St. Mary’s High School.
Coletta married Angelo Romanzi on June 26, 1954 in Frontenac,
KS; he preceded her in death on August 1, 1974.
She worked for the Frontenac Telephone Company and the
Sunset Manor Nursing Home.
Coletta was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and
the Sacred Heart Alter Society.
Survivors include two daughters Rita Deplue and husband Mike,
Angela Kotzman and husband Kurt; son-in-law Tim Windsor, first cousin
Elizabeth Kelly all of Frontenac. 5 Grandchildren-Joseph Windsor and
wife Jenny, Adam Windsor, Anna Muir and husband Kelly, Kyle Kotzman
and wife Stephanie, Katie Kotzman; 4 Great-grandchildren Ruxin
Windsor, Layla, Krew and Londyn Kotzman. She was preceded in death
by her parents, husband Angelo, a son Andrew Romanzi a daughter
Judith Windsor, a brother Andrew Ursic and a sister Ann Rita Pomatto.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday April 13,
2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac with Father
Thomas Stroot as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel
Cemetery. The parish rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the
Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac where the family will receive friends
following until 7 p.m. Condolences can be sent to www.
