Cindy L. Pucci's Obituary
Frontenac, KS — Cindy L. Pucci, age 70, passed away peacefully at her home in Frontenac, KS on December 28, 2025.
Cindy was born on August 26, 1955, in Pittsburg, KS, to Raymond Smith and Wanda (Patrick) Smith.
On June 1, 1973, she married Joe D. Pucci, in Pittsburg. Together, they shared over 52 years of marriage.
Cindy served as the President of the Wichita Labor Federation. Her career was defined by her commitment to workers' rights, also serving as a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers. Her passion for her community extended into politics; she was a lifelong Democrat who worked on numerous state and House of Representative campaigns, always striving to make a difference.
She was a long-time member of the Little Balkin Quilt Guild.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Joe Pucci, of the home; and her brother, Tracy Smith, of Girard, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Jenna Pucci.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Friskel Funeral Home.
