Christoper Michael Teel, 49 of Baxter Springs KS joined the lord on 9/5/21 after an illness.
Chris was born to Mark and Mary Teel of Columbus on 8/19/72. Chris spent his childhood in Gillette WY, and later in life relocated to the four states to Joplin, and then Baxter.
Chris was known as an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and exploring nature. Chris is a man of musical talent who enjoyed band, singing and sharing his love for music with others.
Chris has spent his career as a diesel mechanic, and was the service manager at TMC in Joplin, MO
Chris is proceeded in death by his grand parents Kenneth and Bonnie Teel and Charles Yost.
He is survived by his wife Lindsey of the home, his children Laura Teel (Shane) of Upton WY, Matthew Teel of Pittsburg KS, Keeleigh Minor of Commerce OK, and Jaydon and Alex Minor of the home. His parents, Mark and Mary Teel, sister Michele Hamilton (Gene) and niece Mya of Columbus, and his grandmother Mary Yost of Pittsburg, and 4 grandchildren Keagan, Ashtyn, Braylon and Ava of Upton WY.
Graveside Services will be 10:00am Friday September 10, 2021 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Cherokee County, KS with Matt Glover officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm Thursday September 9, 2021 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus, KS; friends may call after 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Christopher Teel Education Fund. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 611 S. East Ave. Columbus, KS 66725. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
