Mrs. Barto was always the perfect representative of Frontenac. She was kind, friendly and always had a smile on her face. Never did I see her that she didn't greet me with a smile and ask how I was doing.
She was a wonderful woman that meant a lot to everyone around her. I'll never forget how kind she was to me, and how she welcomed me into her home. All my love to the rest of her family.
Sorry for your families loss. She was a sweet lady.
Mary Lou Ward and I had many fun times with Carolyn. We went to AZ to watch baseball spring training, she visited us on the California North Coast and saw the redwood trees and dramatic coast of the Pacific Ocean plus we got together for other family occasions. I remember the long talks Carolyn and Mary Lou had on the telephone. She talked about working in the restaurant and driving the tracker, keeping the family tradition of being a hard worker. Carolyn was so sweet, accepting, and always on an even keel. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by many.
