Carl Rousey's Obituary
Carl Rousey, 76 of Pittsburg, KS formerly of Berryville, AR died Saturday July 16, 2016 at his home in Pittsburg.
He was born March 1, 1940 in Alex, OK the son of Gareld and Anna Lee (Plexico) Rousey. Carl married Sharold Sukraw on May 29th, 1999 in Berryville; she survives at the home. He worked for Kimes Auto Parts Store in Berryville for nearly 35 years. Carl was currently a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Pittsburg. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and was known statewide in California about his race car driving skills. Survivors include his wife Sharold of the home; a son Doug Rousey and wife Rita of Henryetta, OK; 3 brothers-Rich Rousey and wife Betty, Steve Rousey and wife Wynona and Archie Rousey and wife Linda; 2 Grandchildren-Chris Downum and wife Megan, Michael Rousey; 2 Great-grandchildren Caden and Carly; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Debra Choate and a sister Donna Lee. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday July 25, 2016 at the First Church of Nazarene in Pittsburg with Reverend Jim Sukraw and Reverend C.L. Armstrong officiating. Graveside rites and burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday July 26th 2016 at the Dean Cemetery in Berryville. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until services time on Monday prior to the funeral service.
