Camille Ellen Seward's Obituary
Camille Ellen Seward 56, of Pittsburg, KS died 5:45am Wednesday May 5, 2021 at her home following a long battle with cancer.
Camille was born October 14, 1964 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Larry L. and Eva E. (Bunney) Seward. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Pittsburg High School. She later attended Labette Community College and Pittsburg State University with an emphasis on Business Administration. Camille worked as a book-keeper for S and S Electric Company and CDL Electric Company for 38 years and retired due to ill health. Camille was of the Christian Faith; she enjoyed dogs, arts, crafts, casino and most of all shopping.
Survivors include her mother; children Christopher Bledsoe of Pittsburg, KS and Madeline (Maddie) Ellis of Pittsburg, KS; grandson Christian Bledsoe of Pittsburg, KS; brother Larry Seward Jr. of Pittsburg, KS; nephews Dustin Seward and Larry Seward of Pittsburg, KS; nieces Vanessa Seward and Keesha Harvey of Pittsburg, KS; aunt Joyce Parsons of Pittsburg, KS; uncle Frank Bunney of Independence, KS; several cousins; many friends and dogs Bear and Squeaky.
Camille was preceded in death by her father Larry Seward Sr.; maternal grandparents W.C. and Eva Bunney; paternal grandparents Roy and Imogene Seward and several aunts and uncles. Family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Carlson and staff, Dr. Boban Matthew and staff, Harry Hynes Hospice, Doris Tauber, Gabby Garcia and Crystal Powell.
Private Services will take place at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home and burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. Informal visitation will be from 2-6:00pm Sunday May 9, 2021 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to Harry Hynes Hospice. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S.
