Bryan Steven Zuniga-Hernandez's Obituary
Bryan Zuniga Hernandez, 19 of Weir, KS passed on the night of December 15, 2020.
He was born September 26th, 2001 the son of Brenda (Hernandez) Whetzell in Ahuachapán, El Salvador. He moved to Pittsburg at the age of 9 in 2010.
Bryan was a student at St. Mary’s-Colgan High School and was employed at Masonite Doors in Pittsburg, KS. He also was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg where he will be remembered for his smile and joyful spirit. Bryan was a kind and respectful son, brother, and friend.
Bryan is survived by his mother and step father, Brenda and Cody Whetzell of Weir, KS, as well as his three sisters, Paola, Abby, and Ariel. He is also survived by his grandmother, Esperanza Hernandez of El Salvador.
Memorial services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Thursday January 7th at 10am. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery; Pittsburg, KS.
