Bruce Earl Perry's Obituary
Bruce Earl Perry, 77 of Pittsburg, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the Ascension Via Christi hospital in Pittsburg following a long illness.
He was born June 6, 1946 in Kansas City, MO the son of Marvin Hennessy and Lola Mae (Ringgold) Perry.
He joined the Coast Guard on June 10, 1963 and was honorable discharged October 21, 1965.
On September 21, 1972 he was united in marriage to Susan Barnett in Miami, OK; she survives him of the home.
Bruce was a self-employed carpenter for many years.
Church membership was held in the Full Gospel Church.
Additional survivors include a daughter Terri (Rick) Parsons and a son Sean Perry both of Pittsburg; two brothers: Andy Perry of Texas and Dennis Babcock of Connecticut; 6 grandchildren Bradlee (Kelsey) Parsons, Kristina (Christopher) Cullision, Allison (Dane) Ramsey, Andrea (Jared) Heckman, Quinton (Maggie) Parsons, and Christian Perry along with 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will begin at 2:30 pm Sunday November 5, 2023 at the Homer Cole Senior Citizen Center in Pittsburg. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Cremation arrangements are under the direction the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Pittsburg.
