Brandon Michael Eastwood's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brandon Michael Eastwood on November 12, 2024 at the young age of 42.
Brandon was born September 19, 1982 in Pittsburg, KS. Brandon grew up in Mound City, KS, where he attended Jayhawk-Linn High School, playing football, baseball, and was a member of the FFA. He then joined the Army National Guard where he served 13 years, including two tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, as a Sergeant E7 with the Field Artillery Battalion.
Brandon met the love of his life and beloved wife, Debbie Russell, of Pittsburg, KS in 2012, later to be married May 25, 2024, after the "ten year plan", He is survived by his wife, Debbie, his daughters Melody Eastwood and Shelby (Will) Newport, his parents, David and Laura Eastwood, his siblings, Justin (Bethany) Eastwood, Jason (Miranda) Eastwood, and Morgan (Kyle) Campbell, six nieces (Logan, Gracen, Mila, Haven, Clarity, and Elliott), two nephews (Baron and Colson), and a grandson (Kaidin).
Brandon lived a life full of compassion and service towards others. He was well known for his big heart, infectious smile, helping hands, and unmatched hugs. He was a devout member of the Marvin A. Armstrong Masonic Lodge #187, as well as the Widow Sons Artificers Chapter. He loved helping friends and family with projects, deer hunting, riding motorcycles with friends, watching his Kansas City Chiefs, Royals and fishing tournaments with his Dad.
Brandon, a beacon of kindness and love, will forever reside in our hearts. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide us to live a life of service towards others, through God our Father.
Family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Wednesday evening November 20, 2024 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg. Memorials may be made to Sami’s Legacy; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
