Bonnie June Beitzinger's Obituary
Bonnie June Beitzinger, 84, of Pittsburg, KS died at 4:43 AM Monday, November 27, 2023 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
She was born June 1, 1939 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Frank and Rena (Righi) Cabodie. She was a graduate of Frontenac High School.
On June 27, 1959, Bonnie married Robert Beitzinger ; he preceded her in death on February 20, 1980.
Bonnie worked as an exterminator for Interstate Inc Exterminator for many years. She also worked as a housekeeper. She loved spending time with family, her grandkids and great-grandkids were her pride and joy. She enjoyed baking pies for church dinners and bowling with friends and family.
She is survived by her son Robert (Sherri) Beitzinger of Pittsburg, KS; daughter Cynthia of Pittsburg, KS, brother Frank (Thelma) Cabodie of Ferndale, WA, two grandchildren Colton Beitzinger of Raytown, MO, Ashley (Duane) Gaylord of Pittsburg, KS, two great-grandchildren Addisynn Marrone and Brendan Gaylord.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother John Cabodie, two sisters Gloria Nahon and Darlene Johnson.
Graveside Services will be 2 pm Saturday December 2, 2023 at the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. Family will receive friends at 1 pm Saturday, prior to the service at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS; friends may call after 2 pm Friday.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the SEK Humane Society.
