Bonnie Eloise Albright's Obituary
OWASSO, OK – Bonnie Eloise Albright, 87, died December 27, 2020 at Oxford Glen in Owasso, OK.
She was born May 24, 1933 in Randolph, KS the daughter of Paul and Hazel Floyd Toburen. She graduated from Cleburne High School in 1951. She was an athlete, lettering in volleyball and basketball.
She married Clair Myers in 1951 he preceded her in death on January 7, 1984. She married Ronald Albright in 1982 where they lived in Weir, KS for 35 years. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2018.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Northland Christian Church in Topeka, KS. She and Ronald Albright held a membership at the Nazarene Church in Pittsburg, KS.
Mrs. Albright was a seamstress and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and quilting was her passion later in life.
Survivors include three sons Larry Myers and his wife Diana Stewart of Salina, KS, Gregory Myers and his wife Letha of McPherson, KS, and Bryce Alan Myers and his wife Cecilia of Catoosa, OK, two daughters Gayle McCoy of Topeka and Kaylene Myers of Topeka, two step children Andrew (Drew) Albright and his wife Sally of Bentonville, Arkansas and Lois Salmon of Phoenix, Arizona, a brother Gerald Toburen of Blythe, CA and sister Joyce Bitler of Basehor, KS, 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Donald Toburen, Dwayne Toburen, Junior Toburen, Virgil Toburen and one sister Leota Watkins, and Leona Toburen.
Graveside services will be 2pm Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Rochester Cemetery in Topeka, KS with the Rev. Jim Sukraw, officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway in Pittsburg, KS. A memorial has been established in lieu of flowers to the Nazarene Church Youth Ministry in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left at our web site www.bathnaylor.com.
