Betty J. Allen's Obituary
Betty J. Allen, 79 of Pittsburg, KS died at 11:15 am, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Medicalodge South in Pittsburg.
She was born September 25, 1937 in Pittsburg the daughter of Oscar E. and Evelyn B. (Vaughn) Horton.
She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include a son Rollin and his wife Willie Horton of Pittsburg and a daughter Linda Green of Mulberry, KS six grandchildren: Shawn Horton, Diarick Horton, Heather Fallot, Daniel Green, Jamie Green and James Allen; two step-granddaughters: Autumn Kaley and Katrina Allman; seven great-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Pearl Allen and a brother John W. Horton.
Funeral services will be 2pm, Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg with Rev. Dennis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends at 1pm, one hour before service time on Friday. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Memorials may be made to the SEK Humane Society; these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg, KS
