Anthony Ray Clinton's Obituary
Anthony “Tony” Ray Clinton 70, of Frontenac, KS died 10:30pm Monday November 28, 2016 at the Medicalodge Nursing Home in Frontenac, KS following an illness.
Tony was born November 19, 1946 in Wichita, KS the son of Charles and Ida May (Thomas) Clinton. He has lived in this area most all his life and was a graduate of Pittsburg High School in 1966.
On February 13, 1973 Tony married Nancy Ellice Walker in Miami, OK; she survives at the home. Tony worked most all his life as an Owner-Operator Truck Driver.
Tony was a member of the Church of Christ in Pittsburg, KS; in his free time he enjoyed rebuilding classic cars, going to car shows and spending time with his family and most of all, his grandkids.
Additional survivors include his children Julie Duggan and husband Joey of Pittsburg, KS, Robbie Clinton and fiancée Rachell of Mindenmines, MO and Jennifer Tolley and husband Ryan of Frontenac, KS; brothers Larry, Chuck and Jerry; grandchildren Dakota Lapping, Dawson Lapping, Ashton McManis, Austin Trout, Keaton Trout, Ian Tolley and Cailyn Tolley and many nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, brother Allen, sister-in-law Sue Manly and her husband Skip.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Friday December 2, 2016 at the Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac, KS with Jerry Kendall Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. Family will receive friends from 7-8:00pm Thursday December 1, 2016 at the Friskel Funeral Home; friends may call after 1:00pm Thursday. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to the Friskel Funeral Home 230 E.
