Annette Wheeler, 53, passed away on April 19, 2023, in Pittsburg, KS.
Annette Wheeler was born on September 4, 1969 in El Dorado Springs, MO, to Edward Kirbey and V. Ruth Stroud.
Annette completed a GED to gain her diploma. She had many different jobs over the years, but Homemaker was her most important career. Annette loved her family and cared for many of them that preceded her in death.
Annette married Chris Wheeler in Eureka Springs, AR. She brought 3 children to the relationship, Cory Brandell, Joshua Brandell, and the loving memory of another son, Derrick Brandell.
Annette was best known for her love of God and those around her. She had a generous and giving heart and would provide anyone with what they needed if she had it to give, or could get it for them. She was artistic and crafty and would often create things for the church and other friends. She loved animals, going to thrift stores and flea markets and collected many things.
Annette is survived by Chris Wheeler - husband, Joshua Brandell - son, of Nevada, MO. Joseph Brandell-grandson, of Jericho Springs, MO. Eddie Kirbey - brother, of Farlington, Tonya Keith- sister, of Girard. Sharon Barnhart - step-sister, of Chanute. Denise Snavely - step-sister, of Iola, Laura McCall - step-sister, of Overland Park, Marie Stroud - step-sister, of Iola, Rodney Stroud - step-brother, of Iola.
Annette is preceded in death by Edward Kirbey - father, V Stroud - mother, Cory Brandell - son, Derrick Brandell - son, Teresa Stroud - step-sister, and a Daughter she never got to hold.
The service for Annette Wheeler will be held at the graveside at Greenfield Cemetery. Time and Date will be announced via Facebook when further arrangements can be made. She shall be cremated and laid to rest beside her son, Cory, and not far from her other son, Derrick.
Burial: Greenfield Cemetery, Jericho Springs, MO.
