Born on October 30, 1934, Lucille lived a full and faithful life of 91 years, marked by her unwavering Christian faith, her dedication to family, and her quiet but profound influence on those around her.
Lucille contributed to her community through her work at Parsons Stockyards, the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant near Parsons, and Top Master. She was widely respected for her integrity and warmth, and she formed genuine, enduring friendships wherever she went.
Her greatest joy and legacy were her family. She was a devoted mother to three children: Joel Chambers, Jake Chambers, and Jennifer Anning.
Though preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Anning, Lucille cherished Jennifer's three children: Sarah Jenkins (Jeffrey) and their son, Jeffrey Jenkins, Jessica Coatney (Will) and their child, Paige Coatney, and Nick Anning (Bethany).
She is survived by her son Jake (Sue), their son Alex Chambers, and Alex's child, River Chambers—her beloved great-grandchild.
Lucille is also survived by her son Joel (Melissa), along with their six children: Ansley Chambers, Elliot Chambers, Iris Chambers, Owen Chambers, Rhett Chambers, and Winnie Chambers.
These grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense pride and continued her legacy of love.
Lucille's strong Christian faith guided her throughout her life. She lived out her beliefs through kindness, encouragement, and service to others. Many people who knew her have shared stories of the positive, lasting impact she had on their lives—whether through a listening ear, wise words, or simple acts of compassion.
