Anita Perry's Obituary
Anita Perry, 65 of rural Columbus, KS (42 Camp) died April 2, 2016 at
her home.
She was born March 3, 1951 in Monett, MO the daughter of Carl and
Betty (Anderson) Wolf.
On July 17, 1972 she was united in marriage to Tom Perry in Mt.
Vernon, MO; he preceded her in death on December 13, 2014.
Anita worked for Frisco RR for 18 years, she also owned and operated
Perry’s Pit stop at 4 corners south of Columbus, she was a cook for
Columbus schools, Medicalodge in Columbus & Pittsburg and St. John’s
Hospital in Joplin.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in West Mineral, KS
and the American Legion of Cherokee, KS.
Survivors include a son Tom (Amanda) Perry of Weir; two daughters:
Christi (Jason) Mattix of Baxter Springs, KS, Barbara (Ben) Barsch of
Amazonia, MO; a stepson Chuck W. Perry of Fairland, OK; three
brothers: Danny (Martha) Wolf of Bolivar, MO, Ricky (Sheila) Wolf of
Monett, MO and Randy (Jazell) Wolf of Tulsa, OK; two sisters: Renee
(Steve) McKinley of Aurora, MO and Mitzi Riley of Ft. Scott, KS, along
with 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother
Jimmy Wolf.
Funeral Services will be 2 pm, Friday April 8, 2016 at the Bath-Naylor
Funeral Home in Weir with Pastor Ben Scott officiating. Burial will follow
in the Star Cemetery in West Mineral. Condolences may be left at www.
bathnaylor.com. Memorials may be made to the Mercy Hospice; these
can be left at or mailed to the funeral home. Services and arrangements
are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Weir, KS.
