Alyce A. Hanney's Obituary
PITTSBURG, KS – Alyce A. Hanney, 98, of Pittsburg, died July 15, 2022 at Oakview Estates in Pittsburg, KS.
She was born March 12, 1924 in Texas the daughter of Ernest and Mary Divin Homolac. She had been a resident of Pittsburg since 1989, moving from Stanley, KS.
She married Jack Hanney on February 23, 1949 and he preceded her in death on July 6, 2020.
Mrs. Hanney had been a homemaker for most of her life.
Survivors include three sons Paul E. Hanney of Pittsburg, Jere Hanney of Prairie Village, KS, and Mark Hanney of Overland Park, KS, one grandchild and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, one brother Joe Homolac, five sisters Helen Homolac, Marie Krob, Agnes Peterka, Christina Halek and Mildred Dosedlo.
Celebration of Life service and burial will be at a later date at Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS,
