Edna Geneva Graham Trisler

Edna Geneva Graham Trisler 94, of Weir, KS died 2:29pm Thursday March 3, 2022 at her home following an illness. Edna was born February 24, 1928 in Neosho, MO the daughter of Wendell L. and Ida Ethel (Rainey) Graham. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Pittburg schools. On January 28, 1947 she married Ira Raymond Trisler in Pittsburg, KS; he preceded her in death on June 23, 1992. Edna spent most of her life as a homemaker. Edna attended the Salvation Army Church since childhood and loved spending time with family. Survivors include her children Robert Trisler Tulsa, OK, Sharon (Oscar) Stotts Lakeland, FL, Dennis Trisler Nashville, TN, John (Marie) Trisler Pittsburg, KS, Nancy (Mike) Cullins Blanchard, OK, Delores Lewis Pittsburg, KS, Ernie Trisler (Sarah) Springfield, MO, Debra Nolen San Antonio, TX, Joyce (Allen) Dees Milton, FL, Tammy Trisler Lakeland, FL, Jenny Trisler Pittsburg, KS; 23 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son James Edward, sister Ida Mae, brother Bill Graham, daughter in laws Brenda Trisler and Jean Ann Trisler and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Monday March 7, 2022 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Weir, KS with Pastor Duane Elmore officiating. Burial will follow at the Crocker Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. Family will receive friends from 12-1:00pm prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of the flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Salvation Army.
