Christopher C. Wilson 83, of Weir, KS died 12:35pm Wednesday
December 23, 2009 at his home following a short illness.
Christopher was born September 28, 19 26 in Monarch, OK to Clem and
Allie (Tackett) Wilson.
He was a veteran of WWII and served in the Army.
On January 27, 19 47 he married Lois M. McKinney in Girard , KS ; she
preceded him in death on September 27, 1992 . He later married
Charlene McColm on June 4, 1993 in Miami , OK ; she survives at the
home. He worked most of his life for Kansas City Waterworks and later
an Auctioneer. He belonged to the Methodist Church .
Survivors include his wife of the home; son Roy Wilson of California ;
brother Lonnie Wilson of Weir, KS; Sisters Juanita Milliam of Pittsburg ,
KS and Gloria Scholes of Rural Pittsburg, KS; one grandson Alan Wilson
and one great-grandson Tyler Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous siblings.
Memorial Services will be 10am Wednesday December 30, 2009 at the
Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Weir, KS with Rev. Aaron Williams
officiating. Burial will take place at a private date in Rosebank Cemetery
in Mulberry, KS. Informal visitation will be from 10am -5pm Tuesday
December 29, 2009 at the Funeral Home. E-mail condolences may be
