Obituaries
Doreta Carol Williams, 72 of Pittsburg, KS died at 2:56 pm, Wednesday
Sept. 4, 2013 at her home.

She was born June 19, 1941 in Pittsburg to Lester “Sonny” and
Frances (Wade) Butler.  

She married Bill Spurling and they later divorced, she later married Tom
Williams and they also divorced.

She was a Health Care worker.

Survivors include two sons: Terry (Brenda) Spurling of Liberal, MO and
Gary Spurling of Pittsburg; two daughters: Lourie (Jeff) Long of Liberal,
MO and Amber Williams (Derek Merando) of Pittsburg; three sisters:
Sandy McClucky and LaVeta McCart both of Pittsburg, Deloris Butler of
Eudora, KS; 12 grandchildren: John and Shasta Simpson of Liberal,
MO, Shawn and Ashley Long of Pittsburg, Ethan, Eli, Ty and Tabor
Spurling, Jessie and Amanda Spurling all of Frontenac, Jessica
Spurling of South Carolina, Corey Spurling Nevada, MO, Kolby Bevins
and Kaden Merando, along with 14 great-grandchildren and several
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter Lisa
Simpson.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday, September 9, 2013 at the Bath-
Naylor Funeral Home with Chaplin Wayne Mason officiating.  Burial will
follow in the Highland Park Cemetery.  Friends may come by the funeral
home Monday from 9-am until service time to pay their respects.
