          Angelene Vernetti, 82 of Pittsburg died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday
November 11, 2012 at her home in Pittsburg.

          She was born June 29, 1930 in Columbus, KS the daughter of
Joe and Nellie (Jennings) Crespino.  She was a graduate of St. Mary’s
High School.  During her adult life Angeline lived in Wichita and Topeka
but lived in Pittsburg most of her life.

          Angelene married Neil Nelson on June 5, 1954 in Pittsburg; he
preceded her in death in 1963; she then married Bob Vernetti on April
25, 1981 in Pittsburg, he survives at the home.

          She worked for Mt Carmel Hospital and then for the City of
Pittsburg in the Engineering Department retiring after 27 years of

          Angelene was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic
Church and the St. Mary’s Alter Society.

          Survivors include her husband Bob of the home; a daughter
Julie Bartley and husband Bruce of Pittsburg; 2 brothers Frank
Crespino and wife JoAnn of Pittsburg, Bill Crespino and wife Pat of Carl
Junction, MO; 2 grandchildren Todd and Corey Bartley; nephews Curt,
Kevin and Anthony Crespino and nieces Beverly Graham and Erica
Harris.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Daniel Nelson
and a nephew Craig Crespino.

          Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m Wednesday November
14, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg with
Father Marco DeLoera as celebrant.  Burial will follow in the Highland
Park Cemetery.  The parish rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday at
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where the family will receive
friends following until 7 p.m.  Friends may call at the Bath-Naylor
Funeral Home after noon on Tuesday.  Condolences can be sent to  Memorial contributions can be made to the Our
Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Memorial Fund.  Memorials may be
