Kellok R. Swain 42, of Pittsburg , KS died 6:40am May 14, 2010 at Via
Christi Hospital in Pittsburg , KS following a long illness.
Kellok was born March 31, 19 68 in Ujae of the Marshall Islands to Adri
and Jakura (Jeik) Swain. He moved to this area in 1998.
On April 21, 1990 he married Tabitha Samuel in Plano , TX ; she survives
at the home.
Kellok was a Minister at the First Micronesian Assembly of God. He was
a high school graduate of Calvary High School ; he later graduated from
Marshall Island School of Theology; Fountain Gate; and Beacon
Theological Seminary. His wife and Church Family were the most
important things in his life.
Survivors include his wife; daughter Dwila Star Swain of Pittsburg, KS;
siblings Eonis Ishimura, Tira Hanchor, Keju Hanchor, Mary Swain, William
Swain, Tokejeban Linda, Jeik Swain and Matlin Baro. He was preceded
in death by his parents, and siblings Jude Hanchor and Swain Swain.
Funeral Services will be 11:30am Sunday May 23, 2010 at the First
Micronesian Assembly of God in Reeds, MO with Rev. Florence Sasser
officiating. Graveside Services will be 1pm Monday May 14, 2010 at
Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg , KS . Family and friends are asked
to meet at the cemetery for the committal services. Informal visitation will
be from 12-8pm Friday May 21, 2010 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in
Pittsburg , KS . In lieu of flowers the family ask expressions of sympathy
be in the form of memorials to First Micronesian Assembly of God in
Reeds, MO. Memorials may be left at or sent to Bath-Naylor Funeral
